A Mama Must-Have... BabyBin!

Raise your hand if you experienced a total meltdown sometime during the first month after having your baby?  Woah.  That's a lot of hands!  Hey you there sitting smugly with your hands resting on your lap, really?!  No meltdowns?  We don't believe you.  Get that hand up there, it is nothing to be ashamed of.  That's better, okay, so.... everybody?!  Sounds right.  I don't know how you couldn't!?  One day you are you, and then next thing you know you are... somebody's Mama.  It's powerful, but it is pretty scary. With my first baby I reacted like any typical OCD, list-making, Type -A, psycho new mom would.  I freaked.  I had planned everything out down to Baby's socks folded in order of month.  Then Baby came home, and it turns out I didn't need sock drawers in chronological order.  I needed nipple shields!

Thankfully there is a new service that throws new parents a life boat during those foggy first weeks and months... BabyBin!  BabyBin is a monthly delivery service providing all the things you need for baby.  They anticipate what you need for each month of baby's development and ship it right to your door.  For FREE!  You can keep the box all month, "shop" out of it, and you are only charged for the items you keep!  Genius.  BabyBin includes a return address label and you never have to worry about a shipping fee, ever.  I said free, didn't I?  Since I feel a little jealous about all the new moms out there that can enjoy the luxury of BabyBin, I decided to pretend I was a first-timer (my oldest is now 6) and give BabyBin a try.

Step 1 - I signed up online at www.babybin.com.

Step 2 - Megan, my Mommy Advocate, called to gather my information and needs to be able to customize my order.

Step 3 - 10 days later, a box the size of my first apartment appeared on my stoop!

My bin included everything I didn't know I would need back when I was a first-time mom!  I, of course, had registered for everything I thought I needed; cute nursery decor, 15 stroller attachments, y'know!  My newborn bin had a variety of diapers, pacifiers, and bottles to try as well as Vitamin D drops, infant Motrin, earplugs (a necessity), Nose Frida, and yes, nipple shields.

I love that I can just "shop" all month, and whatever I don't need, I box up, slap on the pre-paid return address label, and voila!  BabyBin also has themed bins like, "Bath Time", "Bedtime", and "Meal Time".  Each bin includes a list of its items and their pricing.  For your next month you make requests with your Mommy Advocate, or just rest-assured knowing that BabyBin has already anticipated your little one's growing needs!

I am so excited to share this new find with all the moms and dads out there!  I hope BabyBin can help you save time from running errands and be able to share more moments with your family.  Even if they sometimes look like this...
